About this place
A concept-store showroom for POINTTWOFIVE.SECOND, designed by BRACKET as an immersive retail space that stages scent, tea, and display through layered, atmospheric interiors.
POINTTWOFIVE.SECOND BUCKCHON is a branded showroom and concept store in Bukchon, Seoul, created as an experiential retail environment for the scent label POINTTWOFIVE.SECOND. Rather than a conventional shop, the space is organized as a sequence of sensory encounters, with the design emphasizing transition, pause, and close observation. The project is attributed to BRACKET, whose approach turns the interior into a curated narrative rather than a purely commercial shell.
The spatial language is restrained and immersive. According to the brand’s own space story, the first floor is arranged around perfume experience, while the upper level is dedicated to tea service and contemplation. Materials and light are used to sharpen sensory focus: reflective surfaces, subdued illumination, and carefully framed views shape how visitors move and linger. The design balances intimacy with theatricality, using interior thresholds to shift perception from the street-facing retail encounter to a more contemplative atmosphere upstairs.
Its Bukchon setting is integral to the project. Large openings and a controlled interior palette bring the neighborhood’s hanok context into view, making the surrounding landscape part of the experience. The result is a compact but highly choreographed space that connects brand identity, olfactory display, and local context through spatial sequencing and material restraint.
