About Archistrail

Archistrail is a curated editorial atlas of architecture and designed spaces. All places on the map have been reviewed and selected for spatial and design quality. By using Archistrail, you agree to these terms.

Using the service

• Archistrail is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You may not scrape, reproduce, or republish the content of Archistrail without permission.
• You may not use Archistrail to promote commercial services or advertise without prior agreement.
• Automated access to the service (bots, scrapers) is not permitted.

User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

User-submitted content

When you submit a place suggestion or post a comment, you grant Archistrail a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and adapt that content as part of the service.

• You retain ownership of content you submit.
• You confirm that submitted content (including images, descriptions, and links) does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• You must not submit false, misleading, or fabricated information about a place.
• We reserve the right to edit, remove, or decline any submitted content at our discretion.
• Comments must be respectful. Spam, harassment, self-promotion, or off-topic content will be removed.
• Submitting a place does not create any obligation on Archistrail to publish it, credit the submitter, or maintain it on the platform.

Place submissions

The "Suggest a Place" feature allows logged-in users to propose places for curatorial review. By submitting a suggestion you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You are not submitting on behalf of a commercial party with a financial interest in the place being listed.
• Any images or reference links you include are freely available and do not require a licence to share.
• You have not submitted the same place more than once within 24 hours (automated rate limits apply).

Editorial decisions

All curatorial decisions — which places appear on the map, their tier, and their description — are made by Archistrail's editorial team. Submitting a place does not guarantee it will be added. There is no payment or commercial relationship involved in editorial selection.

Images

Images on Archistrail are either sourced from public archives with appropriate licences, uploaded by the editorial team, or submitted by users. If you believe an image infringes your rights, contact us at hello@archistrail.com.

Availability

We aim to keep Archistrail available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Limitation of liability

Archistrail is provided as-is. We are not liable for decisions made based on information found on the platform, including the accuracy of opening hours, access, or place details. Always verify information before travelling.
