About this place
The British menswear and sneaker retailer’s first Milan store — about 1,800 m² over three levels of a historic Piazza Mercanti building, wrapped around a 15-metre glass-topped atrium and floored in Carrara marble.
Opened in 2023 on Via dei Mercanti beside the medieval Piazza Mercanti, END.’s first Italian flagship occupies roughly 1,800 square metres across basement, ground and first floors. The retail concept follows Brinkworth’s (London) identity for the chain, while the renovation of the historic building was led by Cibic Workshop and Atelier Verticale Architetti.
The three levels are stitched together by a central atrium some 15 metres high, capped with a glass ceiling and threaded by four escalators. Carrara marble set into concrete runs underfoot — the ground floor laid in a fine “scarpa” pattern of around 10,000 hand-set 6.5 cm pieces — pairing the building’s Milanese heritage with END.’s contemporary luxury-streetwear mix.
